
Our Library
The College Library has recently been upgraded to digital form. The Library has a good collection of textbooks, general books, rare books, journals, periodicals and newspapers. It is catering to the needs of about 1000 readers consisting of teachers, students, employees and others. The Library of the college, though not very large, is better organized. It has one student reading room and one teacher reading room. The number of textbooks present in the Library is more than 18000. There are two print journals, five e-journals, and 1000 e-books available in the Library. The Library has a collection of 10 numbers of theses.
The Library functions in cataloguing and close access system from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on all working days. The computer has already been installed and the computerization of the reading materials has been under process. Xerox facility is also available in the Library for visitors.
A Non-transferable digital library Identity Card is issued to each student along with a College Identity Card at the time of admission. In case of loss of the card, students are advised to immediately report to the Librarian and get a duplicate one. Any breach of library rules is a punishable offence. It may lead to a heavy fine or cancellation of the Library Identity Card.

Library Rules and Regulations

All visitors must scan their library ID card at the attendance machine on the wall.

All library users and visitors must keep their bags and personal books on the shelf outside the library room.

Students/members must come to the library in person to issue or return books using their library ID Card.

The library ID card is not transferable to others.

A student can borrow 05 books, and an employee can borrow 05 books at a time for 15 and 30 days, respectively.

Reference Books are not issuable.

Bonafide users (students, faculty, and non-teaching staff) of the College and any other users permitted by the principal/librarian can access the library.

Returned books must be kept at the table at the circulation counter.

Underlining, marking, and folding pages in the books is strictly prohibited.

If a member misplaces or loses their library ID card, they must notify the Librarian immediately in writing.

In case the member misplaces or loses the borrowed Book(s), they must either replace the same material or pay the cost of the book at the current price.

Reference Books, Periodicals (Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers) and the Previous Years’ Question papers are not for issue.

Borrowers should satisfy themselves that the Book taken out is in sound condition. They will be held strictly responsible for any loss or damage to books while in their possession.

Foods, drinks, and fire objects are strictly prohibited inside the library.

The Central Library is not responsible for any belongings lost by a user from the property counter (bag shelf) or inside the library.

Silence is a must inside the library. Using mobile phones and audio instruments is strictly prohibited in the library.

Habitual disregard of library rules will render the borrower liable to forfeit his/her membership.
